We, at DivaTalkRadio, are thrilled to have Kathy Johnson of
PyramidOfPotential as our Featured Guest on Wednesday, March 25th.
Kathy will be talking about how the current education system’s conventional wisdom for struggling students is to create dependency in order to acheive success:
dependent on tutors and teachers aides
dependent on more time and less work
dependent on drugs like Ritalin and anti-depressants
Kathy says, “I don’t blame schools; they don’t know yet that there is another way. Through 8 years of working with these kids, I’ve seen them become successful after an integrated approach. See, there is no silver bullet. But there are paths to success! If more of the same doesn’t work, it is time to find the path that does work.”
You definitely do not want to miss this call. Kathy will educate us and provide us with vital insight.
When: Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. EST
Where: http://DivaTalkRadio.com/live
Until next time…wear your heels well & I’ll see YOU at the show!

Lauren currently runs, www.quarterlife.com/intern, a FREE resource for students to apply for internships at hard-to-reach companies like SONY, NASCAR, NBC UNIVERSAL, and 350 others.

Over 70 % of college students graduate college with internship experience. Students all over the world are currently looking for summer internships. Lauren stands out from other “career experts” because of her age and ambitious personality. Meet Kim Smith DTR’s Production Assistant Intern

Hello Divas! I am so pleased to become a part of the wonderful Diva Talk Radio team and I’m looking forward to getting to know this community in the next few months. Kelli has been a joy to work with so far and I’m excited to be on this journey with her and with her readers and listeners! Kelli asked me to introduce myself to you, so here is a little bit about me.
My husband, Scott, and I live in West Michigan with our two sons–Christopher, 16 and Ian, 15, and one dog, Ebony. We have been married for almost 22 years. Scott works for RBC Ministries (Our Daily Bread), where I worked for nearly 12 years, until my position was eliminated about a year ago.
I have two businesses. Dramatic Design is my Web Design and Marketing business. It has been in existance for over 9 years now and has become a great asset to our family. The goal for Dramatic Design has always been to keep web design affordable for small business owners. Having a small business myself, I know how limited funds can be–yet how important a website presence is, especially for the small business owner. I design each site to match the personality of the business and/or the business owner–each site is as unique as the business itself. I also create WordPress themes for those who like the blog format for their web presence.
Recapture The Memories is my photo digitizing service. Everyone has that box of old photos sitting in their closet or basement and many wish they could do something with them–scrapbook them or share them in some way, but they don’t want to touch the originals. Recapture The Memories is the solution to this problem! I make high-resolution scans of your photos and return your unharmed photos to you, along with your scans on a CD. Once they are digital, you can have prints made or share the photos with friends and family. Having an archival copy of your photos on CD allows you to store your precious memories in a firebox or safety deposit box, too. Printed photos break down over time by just sitting, but digitizing them will preserve the color and clarity of their current state. I also digitize slides and negatives.
I also just finished directing the play The Curious Savage at Kuyper College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. (Did I mention I sometimes go by the nickname “Drama Queen”–not the bad definition, of course!) I do a little acting and/or directing whenever given the chance.
And if all that isn’t enough, I’m also the leader of our local Celiac Support Group. In case you’re not familiar with Celiac, it is an intolerance to gluten, which is the protein found in wheat, rye, barley, and oats. There is no cure for the disease, just a strict diet, avoiding the above ingredients. It’s a pain, but it could be much worse.
Whew! I’m tired just thinking about all that stuff! Haha! Eh…it’s not that bad. I love learning new things and encouraging others. I’m super excited to learn the back-end of podcasting from Kelli, as well as other parts of the operation of Diva Talk Radio. I love listening to podcasts, so this will be a great experience for me. I’m looking forward to interacting with the whole community at Diva Talk Radio.
If you want to connect with me, I’m @kimsmith on Twitter or you can email me at kim@divatalkradio.com. My personal blog is Daily Drama and it’s an eclectic mix of everything under the sun.
Blessings~

Diva Talk Radio is pleased to have Patricia Kagwiria Makhulo as our Featured Guest on Wednesday, March 11th at 2:00 p.m. To join us, go to http://DivaTalkRadio.com/live.
Now, let’s meet Pat!
As the sun sets in NAIROBI, KENYA the beautiful African plains are
illuminated with mesmerizing orange and purple hues, with a hint of black. Into the horizon the acacia trees stand tall and proud as two giraffes meet and greet each other. It is a breathtaking scene…picture perfect! Such was the night, on Jan 5th, when a mother went into labour. It had been a difficult pregnancy as it was the first and mother had not idea what to expect. She was ready to have the baby, she was ready to see what could cause so much pain, would it be worth it…. anxiously she went through the laborious journey.
At approximately 4:00am Jan 6th, 197? Was born to this mother, a baby girl. It was a surprise; she had thought the baby would surely be a boy! So joyed, so thrilled, so happy was at the bundle of joy. She named her baby girl Kagwiria, which translated means, to make one happy, to bring joy!
And so began my journey. 31 YEARS OF GROWING, LEARNING, BEING. INDEED “BUT AS IT IS WRITTEN, EYE HATH NOT SEEN, EAR HATH NOT HEARD THE WONDERFUL THINGS THAT GOD HATH IN STORE FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.” 1COR. 2:9
My name is Patricia Kagwiria Makhulo! I am Creator and author of…
10 DEADLY Home Party Plan & Direct Sales Business Mistakes!
The Little Black Book Of Home Party Plan Marketing Success!
My journey into the industry began roughly 15 years ago when my loving mother, determined to become financially secure enrolled to become a Herbal Life Distributor. Of her mothers’ endeavors, “I remember she would try and elicit interest in my brother and I, with promises that if we were dedicated we would reap great benefits. Sadly I thought it very embarrassing and demeaning to peddle material goods to people who did not seem interested and mocked us.
Like many I was once a struggling home based business owner.
“When I started in the Home Party Plan Industry I had zero skills- I had no sales skills, no marketing skills, no confidence, no direction, no warm market, a shoestring budget that I wasted instantaneously. I had no clue, and I will tell you what, neither did my uplines.
Then I did what most other people do, jump from company to company only to have the same results! I sat down one and looked honestly at the facts before. The commonality that I found in my business was me. The companies kept changing, I kept experiencing failure and I blamed everyone except me. After this honest soul searching, it wasn’t the company, it wasn’t the compensation plan and people didn’t suck. It was me!
I realized and discovered was that, what most home party plan consultants and home party plan sales representatives do not realize is that a home party plan business opportunity is the business of marketing! Regrettably, many of us who pursue this industry have no idea how to market or promote our home based, home party business.
I have had the privilege to work with some notable experts in the Internet Marketing Industry and have seen & received veritable success. Among those I have worked with is The Renegade Marketer herself, Ann Sieg! Of me Ann says, “Patricia Kagwiria Makhulo, many people every single month with a 25% closing ratio (she sponsored 1 out of every 4 people she talked to)!” I know the secrets to marketing and generating substantial incomes online especially for Work At Home Mom’s and those in the Party Plan Industry
I have put together this system so that you can Work Smarter Not harder. I share the secret to my home party marketing success. I am leading a ton of women direct sales consultants and Home Party Plan Business builders to similar success! Here is the blueprint to generating a substantial income using both the Internet and other offline strategies.
Wow…what a great woman!
