Never in a million years did I think a breast cancer diagnosis would lead me to become an entrepreneur, but that is what happened. When chemotherapy threw me into menopause with drenching night sweats and I could not find anything wicking for sleep I knew I was not alone facing this problem. I cut up some old bike shorts and fashioned it into a nightshirt and it worked. I found some sleep friendly fabric and made my first prototype. I showed it to my breast cancer support group and they went wild with enthusiasm! From there I started my own company. I told my family and friends and they lent me not only their support but agreed to model for me! I am so blessed to have beautiful friends and family helping me with my company. Because breast cancer has had such a profound impact on my life, we donate a percentage of every sale to breast cancer research. Because I want to support the USA economy, I use a USA manufacturer. I am living a great life being an entrepreneur and helping women get a better night sleep.
