Is there a better source of inspiration these days than Pinterest? Having a purely visual reference can go far when it comes to drawing up a game plan for any content-based medium. But I find it is especially true for blogs, infographics or guest posts. It is a quick stop for sparking an idea, which is not always so easy to come by elsewhere.
Whatever the reason for your content needs, you can fulfill them with some choice boards. Be sure to check out these seven.
1. Content Marketing
Content marketing has changed a lot in the last few years, but so has online marketing as a whole. I like to think that it is becoming more refined and tuned to the needs of the ecommerce and promotional world. This board addresses common themes on the topic. Though there are not that many pins, it makes up for it in quality.
2. Content About Content
This board has six (so far) awesome pins that include five infographics and a video, all about using content as a marketing strategy. While I have seen one or two of these graphics elsewhere, this is the only place I have found them all together. They are some of the more useful you will see on the web, and definitely worth a look. Maybe even a repin, to keep on hand.
3. Content Strategy
There are plenty of infographics here. But my favorite part is the collection of links to nifty and creative campaigns that show content management and marketing in practice. Some of the info is outdated, such as on Google’s algorithm changes in 2011. But a lot is still very helpful.
4. Content Management
Learn to more effectively manage your content with these ten pins. They cover Facebook fan pages, Google+ integration for wider social media campaigns, infographic building tools and more. Hopefully, there will be more to come pretty soon. But until then, what they already have is pretty impressive.
5. Content Marketing
This might have the same name as Number 1, but it is definitely unique. It deals with creating compelling and potentially viral online content, even when it comes to boring niches. Plus, it holds a couple of items on non-profit use of modern content marketing strategies. It is another one I am hoping to see grow soon.
6. Content Marketing
Alright, I realize this is getting a little silly now. But this is, once again, a unique board. There is a ton of info on everything from using lists to sell more, to turning your 404 pages into potential branding opportunities. That is only a portion of the cool stuff you can find here.
7. Marketing, Media, Ect.
Most of this board seems to be about social media, which is hinted at in the name. There is some great stuff on socializing your brand in the most effective way, and some of the newer apps that are being released that improve on the older ones. A few of the infographics are repeats from the other boards mentioned here, but others are more unique and I haven’t seen around.
