Relationship Diva here, how to be lady or should I put it another way to put it how to act like a lady is a big topic right now. Especially with the new movie coming out “Think Like A Man” but the book’s title is “Think Like A Man, Act Like A Lady.” So how ladylike are you? Do you ever wonder if you present yourself as a Lady when you are in the presence of others?
Being a Lady has become a lost practice; I remember some of the Ladies of yesteryear:
- Sophia Loren
- Racquel Welsh
- Dorothy Dandridge
- Eartha Kitt
- Lauren Bacall
- Jackie Onassis
- Phylicia Rashad
- Maria Conchita Alonzo
The grace, elegance and style that these ladies exude was mesmerizing, some of these ladies are still with us and age has not cramped their style. The right clothes, hair, make up, shoes can all bring out the hidden lady in all of us. Femininity or Feminine energy is the key to being a lady, it’s the way you walk, how you wear your clothes, how you sit, how you smile, etc.
Does being a Lady mean you have to be a Lady all of the time? Not at all, we all have different sides to our personality, sometimes I’m silly, playful, quiet and or physical such as lifting weights. Being a Lady is all about femininity. There are women who know how to use this gift and they get everything they want. Some of us may be jealous of these ladies but they know the power they posses and they are not afraid to use it. Look in the mirror and ask yourself are you a lady.
The modern Woman does it all, because of this some of us have become more Masculine in our energy; and the unfortunate side affect of this is that our femininity has gone into hiding. Also, the air of competition with Men does not work very well in the bedroom, which has left some of us out in the cold.
Pay some attention and learn from the current Ladies who knock Men off their feet:
- Halle Berry
- Selma Hayek
- Sophia Vergara
- Angelina Jolie
- Eva Mendes
Being a Lady is not about perfection it’s all about energy. So if you are not sure if you are a Lady or not click here to answer this questionnaire. This is Relationship Diva signing off; I have places to explore and people to meet.
Until next time, may your days be filled with peace, passion, pleasure and purpose.
