Back in 2001, Lolita Healy went out on a girl’s night out with some of her closet friends where she ordered a Cosmopolitan for the first time. When the
drinks came to the table, Lolita thought the glasses looked naked and needed some extra decoration especially since the drink was to celebrate a
special occasion. The artist inside of her began to come out. She decided that the next day she would go home and start hand-painting and selling
glasses out of her basement with two toddlers hanging onto her legs, she worked night and day. She went on to sell about 2,000 glasses that year.
Today, the Lolita brand has expanded into many other realms– including home goods, textiles, candles, board games and she just launched a line of accessories. Lolita is a lifestyle entertainment expert, her brand is about celebrating each moment and her products help people do just that. Sold in almost 10,000 stores, Lolita exceeded $62 million in sales last year worldwide.
