Like any mom, I have boxes after boxes after boxes full of my three kids’ artwork and school papers through the years. I have kept literally everything. Now that my baby boy will be entering college next year, I’ve got to figure out a way to properly store these things without making even more of a mess in my storage closet. I’ve often thought about scrapping and making wonderful scrapbooks as gifts for the kids, and while I have great intentions, I simply cannot find the time.
I’ve been searching for a solution and found Artkive. It looks like a great service and one that I will be using to digitally store my childrens artwork and school papers. I know how much my kids enjoy looking through their old baby books, so I’m sure they will enjoy looking through their own personalized school books.
One of the great things about Artkive is their concierge service. Just send them all your art and they professionally photograph it and turn it into a beautiful, keepsake book.
The whole Artkive Concierge service just tickles my fancy! It speaks to my inner-geek with the app. It speaks to the mom in me by saving my kids’ work for a lifetime. It’s just something that looks awesome. I’ve already downloaded the app and have been taking pictures of artwork and school papers. I think these will make fantastic gifts that my kids will love for years to come.
