Divas, Every Inch of You is Perfect From the Bottom to the Top

I absolutely love Meghan Trainor’s song ‘All About That Bass’ because it makes any Diva of any size feel good about themselves. I especially love the line in the song that says “every inch of you is perfect from the bottom to the top”. It doesn’t matter what you look like, the size of clothes, the color of your hair…Diva’s, YOU are perfect!! If you don’t believe me, let me show you what God says about YOU: Proverbs 31:10 – “A good woman is hard to find, and worth far more than diamonds.”  When looking up the definition of ‘beauty’, it says “a beautiful person, especially a woman”. 

Now, how can you argue with what the dictionary says and about what God says about YOU? I’ll say it again…Diva’s, YOU are perfect!!

I love today’s DivaTalkRadio Show Guest, Ms. Camay McClure because she is a true Diva in her own right. Ms. Camay holds a National Lifetime Title in Plus Size Pageantry, being crowned for her year of service, coaching and mentoring women across the country, teaching them to love themselves and love their bodies. Ms. Camay groomed two women in Washington State during her active Reign, traveling to Atlanta with them to the National Pageant where they competed and were crowned Queens in their division, creating the Washington State Trilogy in 2013. 

There were many moments in Ms. Camay’s pageant journey to celebrate, however, there were more moments of heartbreak and pain, hurt and disappointment, even moments of public defamation, however, she never allowed any of that to defeat her. She continued on her journey of making a difference in the world, using all of the tests in pageantry as her testimony to other women who may have experienced similar challenges. 

As mentioned above, Ms. Camay competed in the Miss American Beauties Plus Pageant because it aligned with her self-image, a beautiful and healthy plus size woman. She struggles, at times, with society not seeing that. She explains why she would be a great representative for women and girls; “I have always been very confident and always had a positive self-image. I have always encouraged other women who struggle with their weight and body image to love their bodies-even women who are not plus size.” 

Camay McClure is the CEO and Host of The Ms. Camay Show on KKNW Alternative Talk 1150am Radio.  She is a Kaplan University Graduate with an AAS in Paralegal Studies, National Lifetime Title Holder in Plus Size Pageantry, Plus Size Model and Paralegal.  She is the President of Ms. Camay International, LLC, the umbrella company supporting Ms. Camay’s passion and commitment to inspire people across the nation and around the world.  Her journey is one of great courage, only possible with the spirit of her Mother living in her heart.
