Featured Guest: Websites Give Back with Elena Patrice

When my production team forwarded information about this company, I immediately instructed them to book the owner on the show. What caught my attention was the fact that the owners of this company not only have a heart for small business owners but they also enjoy giving back to their community and charities.

Elena Patrice and her mother, Linda Saker, started Websites Give Back after they lost funding for their childrens book publishing and toy company.

WebsitesGiveBack is a company with a wide range of experience. Don’t ever let anyone tell you dreams are meant for the young — if so, we’ve discovered the fountain of youth. As a 65-year-old divorced grandmother and a 40-something single mother of a young daughter, we have, collectively, been inventors, writers, illustrators, toy creators, publishers, and all around small business generalists.

In many ways, WebsitesGiveBack is their personal economic recovery plan. They believe their company can assist small businesses — while sharing with charitable causes that are also impacted by the effects of substantially reduced donations. Knowing that situations and life change constantly, they consider a partnership with other small businesses as an awesome opportunity, in some significant way, to ignite the American dream once again. WebsitesGiveBack initiated a process, through an idea, to address the need for a solution to the challenges in both areas. The idea led to the development of strategies to combine good business and goodwill.

According to Elena:

“My priority is to keep life for my daughter as simple and as innocent as possible.  I spent the first few years of her life too engaged in another industry that was far different than our current business.  Life has a funny way of grounding you when you least expect it, let alone understand it. My wide-ranging business background in the creative sector has determined our goals at WebsitesGiveBack: to deliver a quality product; to build solid business relationships; and to provide an excellent experience for the customer.

What’s most meaningful is that WebsitesGiveBack is a small business that provides a needed service to other small businesses and, together, we are committed to helping others. We find ourselves drawn to the mission of every client, ultimately consider ourselves advocates of the businesses we serve. It is a privilege to be of service to other businesses; I believe this is what allows us to bring real meaning and excellence to the final product we provide.”
