Figure Skater and Entrepreneur, Rosanna Tovi, is our Featured Guest on DivaTalkRadio 12-8-10

Rosanna (Rosie) Tovi is a former U.S. National medalist and Professional Champion in the sport of figure skating.  Rosie is known as “The Figure Skating Expert” for her comprehensive knowledge and experience in the varied aspects of the sport. She has been honored with numerous awards for her achievements in figure skating and has appeared on major television networks including ABC, NBC, BBC, Entertainment TV and ESPN.  Rosie currently makes her expertise available through the company she founded and serves as CEO, World Ice Events, LLC,  a New York City based operation. World Ice Events projects have ranged from providing the very first skating rink for Bronx, New York children to skating show productions for the media launch of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Rosie’s intention is to bring the beauty and joy of the figure skating experience to communities around of the world.

World Ice Events is a dynamic young company with fresh and innovative concepts that has created unique productions, including touring shows, TV commercials, customized figure skating events and rink installations for clients around the globe. The talent management and casting division connects Olympic and world class skaters with events in search of high level performers.

Rosi’s desire was to take ice skating to all parts of the world, not just to big arenas, so she developed a special flooring that will make it possible to perform in school gymnasiums, or any place where there is a flat surface.  Get this…this flooring is not made of ice!  Join us on the next DivaTalkRadio as Rosie talks about her passion for figure and ice skating and her mission to share it with the world.
