God’s Purpose: Be Ready to Move

Digging up a tree that you planted, especially a tree that has rooted well, takes a lot of work. Usually a tree can bloom, bear fruit, and die in one spot. God desires for you to grow and bear fruit, but he may want you to spread your faith far and wide and not remain rooted in one place.

Will Rogers once said ” even if you’re on the right track you’ll get run over if you just sit there”.

Does God desire for you to move? Are you doing the right job, living in the right community, sharing your faith in the right places? You may accomplish more of God’s purpose if you pursue his direction, whether it is to be uprooted or to stay where you are.

Action Step: Examine where you live, work, and fellowship. Be willing to take a chance and move wherever God wants to plant you to do his work.
