Hey It was great having Deb Scott, the author of The Sky is Green and the Grass is blue! Deb shared a bit of her overcoming story to remind us that no matter where you’ve come from – you can create a fabulous life!
Some things that we chewed on and laughed over:
-The power of volunteering
If volunteering overwhelms you, start with the Two Minute Volunteer! You can make a difference today with your attitude and with just taking the time to notice someone around you and being sensitive to them. Once you start giving of yourself, look out! Results could include better health, more happiness, longevity and happiness!
-The power of prayer
Try LISTENING to God and believing to be led. You certainly don’t have to pretend to understand the Unseen One. But trust that guidance and supernatural grace is available for you. This comes as you block out time to be quiet and act on your promptings!
Try Positive Self Sabotage!
Instead of setting yourself up to fail, be “booby trapped” into success! Post notes to yourself all over your mirror, your journal, your refrigerator. Learn who you really are so that you can share your gifts with the world. Believe to win.
Definitely catch the show with Deb Scott. You’ll be glad you did!
