Learning from Our Mistakes is the Hardest Part

Someone once said that the definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over without changing anything and expecting a different outcome.  Thomas Edison tried more than sever hundred times to make the filament in a light bulb work before he had success, but he wasn’t crazy! He was learning. He made mistakes and changed his direction until he found what worked.

Winston Churchill said “All men make mistakes, but only wise men learn from their mistakes”.

It is perfectly okay to make mistakes! Messing up means you tried, and messing up refines your purpose and potential. The crucial factor is to learn from your errors. Grow from them. Take the lesson learned and apply it to the next time.
