Juanita Johnson [aka JUANITA] is a singer, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, humanitarian, and activist.
As an entertainer for many years, her repertoire includes dancing, modeling, and singing. JUANITA has appeared in several music showcases, fashion shows, events, music videos, magazines, and was a finalist in the Miss Black World New York State Modeling and Beauty Pageant. JUANITA has performed her original music, as well as covers across the US and abroad and refers to her musical style as Sophisticated S-O-U-L, a fusion of R&B, Soul, and Jazz.
Incorporating her business acumen, creative talents, and passions, JUANITA also holds dual art and business degrees in Human Services: Mental Health and Marketing and is the former co-founder of G&J Consulting Services. G&J Consulting Services was a successful creative services firm that provided copywriting, brand development, and marketing consulting to start-ups, small businesses, and Fortune 500 companies.
Not only a talented artist, she is a very sought-after motivational speaker and participates in conferences, events, empowerment, and educational initiatives. As a former member of the African American Advisory Council for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), JUANITA was one of the main forces behind developing a successful outreach initiative, AACT-NOW! and she facilitated a support groupfor a few years. JUANITA has worked with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and helped coordinate Out of the Darkness Community Walks to raise funds for advocacy, education, and research for suicide prevention.
In addition, JUANITA has received rave reviews and industry accolades for her music, positive energy, empowerment anthems, soulful performances, as well as awards for her community service and support of various charitable organizations. She has partnered with CARE and proceeds from her song Better Dayz is donated to fight global poverty.
JUANITA has several projects and business ventures. Currently, she also runs Personify Entertainment™, a global entertainment company that provides creative event solutions in music, television, fashion, film, art, and theater. PE has released the JUANITA CD, I Already Love U with a dance remix, and new single, Tomorrow is AVAILABLE NOW!

This is my first time to learn that she is also a motivational speaker. It is really nice to know about this though; I was late of notice about your interview with her. I am curious on how she is going to handle people and how she motivates them to get out from their shell and give the best that they can.
