In today’s technological world, there is literally an app for almost anything. There are apps out there for every woman! Below is my list for the Top 10 Paid Apps for Women that fulfill the needs different women have.
1. Sleep Cycle alarm clock (http://www.sleepcycle.com/)
While most smartphones come with an alarm, the Sleep Cycle alarm clock is worth downloading. The alarm keeps track of your movements during sleep and wakes you up at the exact moment in the half hour before your alarm when your sleep is lightest, making sure you are at your most rested.
2. Awesome Note (+Todo/Calendar) (http://www.bridworks.com/anote/eng/)
Awesome Note is for the woman fond of organization and planning. It gives you color-coded folders to organize your notes and its own custom calendar with custom ringtones for alerting you to your deadlines. It is full of options to customize your notes and even gives you the option to set priorities for your notes.
3. Week Calendar (http://www.weekcal.com/)
Week Calendar is designed to replace the calendar already loaded on your smartphone. It makes staying on track with tasks and deadlines easier, because it shows a weekly view of your life. You add events and things you need to do by each day and can color code them for better organization.
4. SpellTower (http://www.spelltower.com/)
SpellTower is a puzzle game for women who enjoy the challenge words present. Imagine Tetris, but with letters. It has various modes, which can be relaxed (creating words from a grid of letters) or chaotic (letters come up from the bottom rows as you scramble to create words to clear the top rows and keep the grid clear).
5. Allrecipes.com Dinner Spinner Pro (http://allrecipes.com/features/applications/dinner-spinner/default.aspx?lnkid=arm1019)
The Pro version of the Allrecipes.com app is great for women who don’t always have time to plan out a meal. You just scan whatever you have in your pantry and the app will give you recipes containing those items. You can change the number of servings on any recipe to fit your needs, and search for recipes based on the amount of time they take to cook.
6. InstaPaper (http://www.instapaper.com/iphone)
InstaPaper is great for avid readers of online newspapers or blogs who don’t want to deal with the ads or extras on the page. You can save web pages to the app for reading then or later. The web pages are saved as plain-text, and can be read when you do not have internet.
7. Kayak Pro (http://www.kayak.com/)
Kayak comes as a free app, but the paid version has more features perfect for those who travel often. You can plan your entire trip with one app and keep track of every part of your travel. The best part is that the Pro version contains detailed maps of over 100 airports, which is a great tool for any traveler.
8. Travel List (http://travellistapp.com/)
Travel List is another app great for travelers. It allows you to create lists of items you need to pack for your trip and check them off as you pack them. Everyone has forgotten something on a trip at some point or another, so this would be a great tool to stop that habit. You can also create alarms for things you need to pack at the last minute, such as toothbrushes or hair products.
9. Pick – The Purchase Tracker (http://www.waplestuff.com/)
Pick is an app great for keeping track of your spending habits. It specifically tracks how much money you spend on shopping, but it can also calculate discount prices quickly. It customizes itself based on your location, for things such as tax purposes and currency, so the prices are always as accurate as possible.
10. Honk (http://www.istormapps.com/)
Honk is built for those moments when you park your car in a large lot or structure, and go back to realize you don’t remember where it’s parked. By activating the app, it tells you where your car is located, saving the time spent wandering around the lot. It also works when you park at a parking meter, because it keeps track of how much time you have on the meter while you are away from your car.
Do you use any of the apps listed above? Please share in the comments section below.
Thanks!
